The girls from Room 5 who are in the Enviro Force team carried out a waste audit with Ron from Auckland Council. A waste audit is when all the waste from one day at school is weighed and sorted to see what could be recycled instead of going to landfill. The girls found out that only 12% of the schools waste actually needed to go to the landfill.
